Do you remove my existing lawn?
No. Slit-seeding is done directly into the existing lawn, without excavation or complete removal of the grass.
When is the best time to do slit-seeding?
Slit-seeding can be done in spring or fall, when temperatures are favorable for grass germination. Fall is often the ideal period, as temperatures are cooler, weeds are less aggressive, and conditions allow for better rooting of new grasses.
Do you redo the soil?
No. We perform deep mechanical aeration of the compacted clay soil under the lawn, without redoing the entire structure.
What is dethatching for?
Mechanical dethatching is used only when necessary, when the thatch layer prevents good contact between seeds and soil.
Is topdressing mandatory?
No. Topdressing is optional, recommended only when the soil is very poor or certain areas are more fragile.
Do you use just any seeds?
No. We select corrective grasses adapted to:
